Black Ops 6 players still desperate for “essential” COD perk to be added

Black Ops 6 players are still desperate for a classic Call of Duty perk to be added at some point, claiming it’s replacement simply isn’t “good enough.”

At times, Call of Duty’s multiplayer has seen some classic features ripped out in favor of trying something new. Dead Silence’s switch from being a perk to a Field Upgrade annoyed many players back in Modern Warfare, especially given how important it has been in modes like Search and Destroy.

These changes have tried to reinvent the wheel at times, with fans demanding a return to the good old days.

Well, in Black Ops 6, Sleight of Hand has been missing again – which has upset players. They’ve continually called for its return, and now that perks are being added mid-season, they’re desperate for it to come back again.

“Feels like eternity whenever I’m reloading (depending on what gun I’m using) then I get killed whilst on a streak,” Redditor _chargeit said. “Sleight of Hand is one of the essential perks needed for multiplayer but Treyarch says NO.”

Players noted that the perk has been replaced by Fast Mags, something that has been a staple in the Black Ops series.

“Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s added back at some point. Maybe it’s a crutch but I’ve always ran it when it’s available. The fast mags aren’t good enough,” another commented. “I struggle to understand why fast hands perk doesn’t extend to reloading speed,” added another.

As noted, Treyarch has already added a couple of new perks to the game, including Hunter’s Instinct and Slipstream. So, they are clearly open to adding others as they go.

Perks have been a hot topic in the Black Ops 6 community since the announcement that Season 3 is going to be delayed. Players have complained about some being “useless” and in need of fixing.
